Afternoon all
Just changed the gearbox oil on the bike. Fabricated my own drain plug removal tool and drained what looked like milky soup from the gearbox. Bike has done 47.5k miles and other than a tricky ‘1st from neutral’ selection the gearbox works fine. Perhaps more worryingly there was a lot ...

R1100s before and after...
Been fettling with bike (again) and finally (during lockdown) got round to painting and fitting the belly pan. Thought I'd share a few photos as a 'never painted anything before' newbie I surprised myself with the end result! Before any work this was a bog standard mandarin R1100s.

Restore panniers
Hello All
Just taken ownership of a 2000 R1100s that came complete with BMW panniers - I'm in that honeymoon period where I care about the fact that the panniers are a little scuffed
. Anyone have any suggestions on how I can tidy them up to look like new?
Best
Steve

Hello
Evening all
I am now the proud owner of my first R1100s - been coveting one of these for a while so I'm chuffed now to be the owner of a Mandarin 2000 plate very standard bike. I've been a biker all my life since my very first Yamaha DT50 way back when  Other bikes I've owned along the way ...
