Nice one, guys. Cheers for the replies. The next thing I'd like to see
is bike policies being suspended (except for the theft / fire element)
during those time of the year when many bikes are off the road.
Don't know quite how it would work but if it's something the biking
community want then they ...

Just the ticket, adamski.......
Based on Europ Assist costs I should be able to buy
ebikeinsurance and the breakdown cover for less than
C/Nash.....although I'll call them nearer the time to
see if they want to compete.

As a matter of interest, the quote from 'ebike' is very
competitive:

Haven't had to use my current breakdown provider (Carole Nash) but looking
for any other / recommended service. The insurance cover which CN
provide include the cover automatically but I've now found a cheaper
insurance provider (ebikeinsurance) and although their quote covers UK breakdown it doesn ...

...it's a bloody wonder I can ride the bike at all.....'stiff right hand, numb left hand, vibrated left big toe.....not to mention the sometimes constant 'adjustment of ones finer parts....with my 'numb left hand'.
Not surprising I look a wreck when I get off me bike.....
