Why do people get so hung up on oil :roll: Just put in any oil that meets or exceeds the requirements specified by BMW.......simple :wink:

Well here's my 2p worth :)

People worry too much about oil . I change mine every 6k miles (or there abouts). She's had a diet of Mobil 1 (cheap in Costco), Halford's finest own brand and just about everything else at one time or another. Still uses pretty much the same amount at 110k miles as she ...

Afternoon, haven't been around for a while (ever expanding family) but saw this post and thought i'd insert my 2p worth.

The splines on my clutch went at about 75k which in itself is not to bad,(as Jason says it's about £100 all in) unfortunately in my case it damaged the splines on the gearbox ...

ContiRoad Attacks

Have now completed 600 miles with these on the CBR and have found them to be excellent. Used them in the wet today (first time it's rained in a month :shock: ) and there were no buttock clenching moments :D

Best of all they were only £140 for a pair :D If they last anywhere near as long as Z6's, I ...

In my experience if the battery is not in tip top condition on the s, it can be a pig to start. 4 - 8 miles is not really enough. Time to run an extension lead,buy an opitimate and plug it in at night :D

Hi Dave, i wouldn't worry to much about that :) Just don't leave it ticking over for twenty minutes going nowhere :shock: it is air cooled after all :D
