Re: Grazie Vale
My days of following MotoGP effectively ended when BT Sport snaffled the TV rights, meaning I was no longer (prepared to pay to be) able to watch the racing live. The last few years of Rossi limping around near the back of the pack therefore do not feature heavily in my memory. I do think that by co...

Re: Back End Buccy October 8/9/10 2021
After 18 months of intermittent lockdowns and no motorcycling tours, I didn't bring my cameras to Moffat since I didn't want the distraction of faffing around with them. My personal goal for the weekend was to meet up with old friends, at long last, to enjoy their company and ride my bike through st...

Re: Back End Buccy October 8/9/10 2021
Just made it back to Norfolk, via a family stopover in Blackburn. I had a thoroughly excellent weekend too, and it was great to see everybody again. Thanks to all those that took part and roll on the next one.
All the best,
Paul

Re: Go pro.
Hi Dobbo, I've not tried mounting a camera on an R1200S, but it looks like it could be quite a challenge. I've mounted cameras to my bikes using the go-pro sticky mounts, a suction cup and various RAM ball solutions. On the R1200S, I think the suction cup route is probably least likely to be success...

Very nice. I'm sure you will have a fantastic life down there and I wish you the very best of luck with the move. I'm only very slightly green with envy

Very nice. My mate "Dangerous Dave" has one of these and it has no shortage of get up and go.
Good luck with the move to France. Whereabouts are you going to live?
Cheers,
Paul

Re: I'm off to Germany and get me a r1100s?
I did a quick google search and found a post on PistonHeads where a guy had recently imported a bike from Germany and this is what he said: I recently imported a 6 year old motorcycle from Germany... below is the process i followed 1. Get the vehicle MOT'd 2. Certificate of conformity (not sure if y...

Hi Northumbrian57,
A quick google search threw up this link from zen graphics. It's probably worth giving them a call if you need to change the colours slightly for your yellow and black bike.
Hope this helps,
Paul

Re: What do you think about a 99 r1100s with 32.000 on the clock?
Hi richphela, Welcome on board! Good luck with your hunt for an R1100S. 32k miles on the clock is not a problem for these bikes, but you need to dig deep to determine how well it's been looked after in recent years. Lime green was not a colour that BMW produced so it's been re-sprayed in it's life. ...

Re: Getting Back on the Boxer
+1 on looking like a good one. The previous owner has clearly had the good taste to apply some Boxertrix stickers, so must be thoroughly sound to have passed the rigorous vetting process to be able to buy them Seriously though, it looks like a nice example.
