BMW Club Ride-Friendly Trackday 9th March
We still have places left on the BMW Ride-Friendly Trackday at the Snetterton 300 Circuit on the 9th May. The events are held on Mondays and many prefer to travel up and stay locally on Sunday night. At Snetterton, The Breckland Lodge is very close to the circuit, has good rooms, good food, good pri...

I have wilbers on a Boxercup - really good suspension, and more sensible money than Ohlins. They will be built to suit your weight (or at least they are if ordered through Revs Racing - have you asked them for a quote?) There is a train of thought (I can't tell) that the front shock upgrade makes v...

**GONE** F650 Funduro. Free to whoever can collect it.
Don't adjust your sets, you read that correctly. I don't want anything for it, I just need to clear it out with the minimum of fuss. The detail of it: Theres a 1993 F650 Funduro thats been lurking in my garage for years awaiting a rebuild. Its partially disassembled - the body is off, the tank is of...

Thanks for all the replies chaps. The majority vote so far appears to be for painting it up to match. Admittedly I quite like the idea although I also remember how good the whites that were on my old GXSR trackie years ago looked. Its important to remember the primary reason for having these though:...

Sim'lar thing been around for ages. They work great but vibrate like crazy if damaged.
Quite amusing for the first 5 minutes in the rain but the double vision soon becomes wearing..

Thats Nice! You raise another relevent point: Rim tapes. I have them on the OEM wheels. They were on when I bought it years ago and never took them off. I kind of like them even though some day's i think they are a little juvenile. Only some days though: https://damoace.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/R1100...

Painter needed in the Home counties
So its coming into the winter again, like it always does, and that means my long-suffering BCR is heading into surgery. Only this time, the job's centre around a task that I just can't do: Painting. I have tried and failed before. As Clint would say "A man's got know his limitations" and t...
