Hi nick Had a similar issue with mine when I first got it it looked like the previous owner may have over cranked it at some point,The starter is only held in a couple of bolts, May be worthwhile taking out and getting it benchtested to allay your fears, Mine did end up seizing and with a new starte...

His lot of good info on this one, I have booked mine in to RGS Motorsport
Tomorow for a rolling road test as I have swapped out the petrol and losing the will to live on this one grrrrrrrrr !!

Fuel I will try the fuel although the station I used was a Shell station and I got to used the pump after they had just finished testing it ??

And I would have noticed as it was also smelling and I could feel the heat between my legs (that sounds Wrong)

Thanks for the responses I think I will have a look tonight it did have a service oil filter and had valves looked at ect

Will look at filter and oil cooler when I get home

Hi yes I believe so, when I checked the oil and actual engine was hot as in could not rest your hand on it, because my first thought was either A: not enough oil in it B: the wrong type of oil Because the engine appeared to be passably over heating ? Tand as soon as I start the engine the glass view...

Re take on my last statement

Well all I can say is i re took the pin out ( it was a dry a my bank balance ) Greece refitted and tightened until no play between 12 and 6 and 3 and 9 And to get it to that stage it's about 16 nm on my 18 year old bar, Well I'll see how it rides tomorrow and probably book it in to the main stealer

Hi all looks like I have play in the final drive at 12/6 and 3/9, but have noticed that there seams to be no lock tight on the left hand adjustment side, and the inner pin is finger tight, Looking on internet I have got people quoting from 7 to 25 foot lb and 70 to 115 foot lb for the retaining nut ...

Hi as anyone ever used a bike dolly to manoeuver their bike whilst on side stand , if so what was it like any good ? As I am thinking of getting one to allow me to store the 1100 properly
