Changing the bike is cheating. She'll just jump on her own given the option but I think it's weird taking two when there's room on mine for another.

I confess to being a very occasional motorcyclist these days, hate getting it filthy and having to spend hours cleaning it.

Is there a trick to getting the missus to perch on the back?

Having just bought one I can certainly add my own opinion.

I would have gone for a good owner-maintained bike at a good price, a local dealer bike or a national dealer bike with BMW warranty.

We don't have the luxury of choice with the R1200S

Having got together a nice budget for a new bike I'm having a dilemma in deciding whether to get an S4R Ducati, I've always had Ducatis, or a R1200S.
Popped over to Gloucester at the weekend to see what £5.5k gets me in a dealer and can only say I was very disappointed.
