Had what seemed almost identical issue with one I had that had been stood for a long time with old petrol, managed to sort it with fresh petrol and a good long run. try it its the cheap option...before you go down the injector, fuel filter, etc etc etc road.

I have just purchased a 2002 R1100S with a Remus race system, it has the link pipe so no CAT. the sound at 7000 rpm up, is just awesome but it does have hesitant spots below that, any advise on what Eprom/chip to use would be greatly appreciated, I have google'd it and its a bit of a mine ...
