but the saving grace is that it was an option , and not standard on all models ,, but as with any modification , inform your insurer ,, but that includes an aftermarket can too.

ive by passed abs on my r1150r ,, with servo ,,, an afternoons job , cost a tenner , and the biggest part was folding up a new box for the electronics to sit in ,, looked at the abs on my 12 at one point , with a view to removing it ,, long story cut short , with the brain , and can bus , etc , it w...

usually no cat likes a tad more fuel , infact 11s just like a tad more fuel anyway ,, so thats a starting point to look at. as for the limiter , sounds like its been played with ,, have a look about to see if theres fuel mods done , something like the plug in mods , even a chip mod , not always easy...

yep ...
they all need a little richening up , free flow exhaust makes it more vital .
although from memory they can be richened up just using a jumper wire , they do it for laser exhausts , i have the pin code some where

make sure you put the new ecu in the right way round , i take it its just the chip , not the full module.
there is a dot on one corner ,,, take heed , and make sure its in nice and all legs are lined up before you press it home...
