I think that, eventually, I bought a brand-new (no miles) white-faced head from a fellow Trixter. No digital clock and a broken speedo glass. Put my own clock in; found a bloke in Devon(?) who repaired old clocks. He sent me an exact size piece of glass for a couple of quid. :wink: It went, together...

The K is such an awesome touring package, with performance levels up there with the loopy sports bikes, which is why I really like it, sadly it's been let down by BMW's mid noughties quality control, given the extensive list of new parts it's had and from what I read in the warranty book just about...
