We're going on Sunday.

I don't usually do bike shows, but we're in Birmingham for 'Nedstock' at the O2 Academy, so it seemed worthwhile going whilst we're there.

Get a 'Vario' screen, with adjustable aerofoil. They transform the bike.

I did a lot of miles in a Toyota Prius and would rate it as a means of transport.

Would I buy one to have an enjoyable European road trip, though... No!

And, unfortunately, that's exactly where the Divvy 9 sits in the biking world.

Dull but worthy transport.

A couple of years ago, we had this in Caerphilly. https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash2/163833_10150160269408289_302797_n.jpg But my 'snow socks' got me out and about. https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc3/156812_10150160269438289_1361560_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.a...

Bloody hell - that seller owns 3 teapots.

I'm sure he'd qualify for help for that affliction.

Depends on what you call a bad review. My measure would be 'totally dependable and cheap to run, but dull as used dish water'. Which is pretty much the universal opinion of Divvy 9s. Shame the OP wasn't looking a few weeks ago, as I sold a very usable VFR750FT for 500 quid. Lovely bike, that, too - ...

On the other hand, this sounds like a perfect excuse for a filthy rear plate and riding like a twat everywhere!

If they can't read the plate and can't chase...

Besides which now that I think about it, I didn't find the Divvy dull to ride. People just assume it is because it's so plain Jane, I suggest the OP take a test ride before putting too much faith in bar stool road testers. See, you're making an assumption that I haven't ridden one. As someon...

Thing about the Diversion 900 is that they are soul-destroyingly dull.

Fine for commuting - but you want something with a bit of character for a summer holiday.

Is that question directed at me?

Not in particular. It's just that fewer and fewer people seem to be wearing watches, as we now carry a multitude of devices which tell the time.

I really want a Blade - but mine would have to be an early twin-headlamp model, or a fox eye urban tiger.

We've done something similar - I have a big trip planned next summer, so bought an early 1300 Pan European. The right tool for the job. Originally, it was thought the 11S would be fine - but we did a trip to the Black Forest on it this summer and it was hell at times. When we were on the open road, ...

Help for Heroes does do some good work - but the fact is that it's also a charity that appears to have links to more unpleasant right-wing organisations, too - many HfH supporters are of the EDL inclination - essentially they've hijacked a genuine organisation for their political gain. Feel free to ...
