Hey HerrFlick
Two BM tourists passing Brisbane 24th on route to Maleny. One tourist (me) at loose end Friday. If you are a freelance gentleman, want to join up in Maleny, Thursday or Friday? I've always thought that two mango and graphite R1100s would look good together in front of a coffee shop for a photo-op., ...

Alps bike hire
Thanks for suggesting an alternative, although the possibility of back-to back rides on different makes is appealing. However cost must be considered, and I am after all, a Trixter. Wear a dinner jacket under the leathers, and drop in to Klosters or Garmisch. for a James Bond moment. Well I can drea...

This looks great
Anyone zeroed in on this yet?
http://www.highbike-paznaun.com/welcome/
I haven't done it, but I would really love to.
To me this looks sensational. I could fly in from Oz. Base myself nearby, and ride up and down on a great mix of bikes.
Any reports yet??

I found this for sale.
The description warrants the owner being dragged behind the bike over a cowpasture, but it is still a good deal. In the main ad it is registered to 2102.

Jets.
For aircrew, or anyone who ever dreamed of being one, the following blog is great reading.

Apparently a blog for ex test pilots.

Please excuse previous alzheimers moment.
Rolly Beaumont flew the TSR2 from Scotland to Wales very quickly, not the Lightning.
I should proof read my own work.

Folland aircraft etc.
Long shot, but there was also a Folland Midge. It's a big step from 'midge' to 'meek' but it is all I can offer. You can Google Folland Midge for more facts. Of the great, very much lamented, Lightning. I once heard an interview with Rollie Beaumont who described flying the aircraft from the South c...

Fear of falling past
Not on your sweet bippy I don't. http://www.hardracing.com/shocks%20&%20steering%20damp/Penske.htm Penske pretty much dominates US racing (I know, I know) but I just love having something no one else has. The pose value is huge. (probably so is the price.) Ohlins are just so yesterday. ('')...

Fear of falling less
Thanks for the link on Conti pressures. Never thought to check. I never take a pillion, so hoped a lower and softer pressure would be okay, but I will pump them back up to make sure no overheating problems. Never heard of Conti Attack2 C until you mentioned it. Too late now. Ah well. We live and (so...

Fear of Falling, The Epilogue.
It was tyres. Fitted a set of Conti Attack2 and all my problems went away. Tips in easily and tracks true. No longer necessary to have two strong men prise my fingers off the handlebars. I have gone back to 33/38 pressures, which is near factory recommendation. Jury still out on that, but feels good...

Fear of Falling
Very fair point Vince, but I don't think I am the cause, but I am probably magnifying the symptom by gripping too hard (either with hands or sphincter.) However no point in doing a course until I am confident the bike is as good and as safe as I can make it. Plenty of courses here-about, though sadl...

Fear of falling
Fear of falling now becomes fear of running out of money. I don't disagree with any suggestions, but the cost of tyres plus shocks (even Wilbers) now approaching 20% of value of bike. Better to jack up the spark plugs and wheel a new bike in underneath. (':)') Anyway one thing at a time or I won't l...

Now we know why that bastion is leaning at 30 degrees.
It was wild knees-up.('')
