The speedo pickup reads off the rear disc bolts and is not upset by sprocket changes .most people will run 16/44 ,i run 16/42 but i run a 190/55 and found 16/44 to much with the 55 profile tyre.and they are oe cans.

you are using the adjuster on the cables when doing the 3000 rpm check not the brass air screws are`nt you?,and the cables are seated right down in the adjuster? ,these are easy to dislodge.

Why have the plate at all,its just plain wrong sorry.i looked at that one but the boxerdesign holder is nicer and legal.

this is going to sound bad but i have not and will never use one of those for the reason above.just not worth damaging any of my bikes for something that can be removed so easily.
