well where do i start i have been here before the front brakes just will not stop squeeling at slow speed i have fitted geniune bmw pads ,ferrodo platinum, pads ebc hh pads. and they still squeak ( early bremdo ) and have copper eased the back of the pad i have checked the pistons on the calipers ...

i am thinking of replacing the rear crappy indicators does anybody have any ideas with what to replace them with i have seen some on the r1100sgoodies.com web site has anybody tried these as they dont look to big and bulky

well have just chamfered the front pads still no diffrence has anyone tried a softer brake pad material as i think the bmw brembo pads are hh compound which i think is two much for road use imho any way as i am not a heavy breaker any way

any comments advise

How many miles?
Disc to wheel mount posts wear which can cause to noise your describing when braking from low speed to a stop.
Yet one more thing to piss you off.sorry!

went to donnington in the rain returned in the rain then the front brakes (early brembo non abs)went noisey at slow speed ( walking pace)the brakes are fine at high speed so booked into dealer they said the pads had glazed up and the backs of them very dry so they deglazed and copper sliped them ...

can anyone tell me what the length of the front brake lines are as i want to convert to a race set up and ditch the splitter is one longer than the other or would i be better getting in contact with goodridge etc also any hints and tips on fitting

have just fitted the front disc bolts ( thanks minivin) the right side went in no problems but the left side i had to run a tap down the threads as i just went to put the new ones in then all of a sudden just locked half way down the bolt so i managed to remove carefully is it all the ...

what does the k1200 fuel pressure reg do to the performance on a s over a standard one as vey intrested as have been reading other posts as may do this mod as bike is fitted with laser system lennies induct pipe k/n filter also how much do they cost????
