Really appreciate your straight answer. :) I've never got the matching bike/outfit thing before but since the HP is such a special bike I thought it would be ok.
But just had moment of clarity and realised I looked a berk in the photo on test ride (yes - laugh it up!) and you've given me ...
Ummm, I think I may have made a retail mistake!
Nu2B, can't interest in a lovely race suit that doesn't match your bike can I?
Its not my fault, it's BMW's - you see, they delay the production of the bike and to keep you interested they release a 'HP' suit and I was suckered in! :roll ...
I had a ride on the demo a couple of weeks ago at Bahnstormers and once you've ridden it you'll know the HP2 is the bike to have.
For me, its the gearbox coupled with the low (ish) revs that really mean you do mad speeds without that tiresome feel of having to ring a bike neck to get there ...
Smart Riders is opposite KFC on Barrack Road (the main road out of Christchuch towards Bournemouth). I get all my kit from him and his product knowledge is excellent. Tell him I sent you and to demand a discount!!!!
The second hand shop is in Purewell - not sure if its still there?
Pop down to Smart Riders in Christchurch, speak to Chris (the owner), he's a really nice guy and he's always got some Rukka on his sale rail. Don't know if he has your sizes but worth a look.
If you've got a friendly local dealer they can borrow one of 2 demos for the UK directly from BMW UK. On Saturday I rode the actual bike used by MCN in last weeks' issue. It's alway good to test ride someone else's bike and no - that doesn't mean mine!
Found this forum whist on my relentless search for more info in the HP2 Sport. Mine arrives in 2 weeks (although it should have been here March 8th!!) and to say I'm looking forward to it is putting it mildly! Just had a test ride and it's awesome - especially the quickshifter.
