Yes, a nice looking bike, saw one up the hilltop café outside Salisbury last Saturday. Had the luggage and the Garmin and all sorts of toys. I was very impressed with the bike (which is more than I can say about the one egg hand full of chips scabby ham dinner). Would I have the R1200RS. Oh yes........

Yes great pic's. Al and I Had some great laughs, rode brilliant empty roads, ate fantastic meals, quaffed cold ales........ I only fell off once and that was when I forgot I had the pan-ears on and misjudging my width I clipped the rear end of a motor at the petrol station near Portsmouth ferry term...

Yeah the Tracer looks nice but I will stick to my Tiger with its speed wobble.
8K would get me a nice R1200R for Sunday best.

That is truly a very nice machine.
I cant say I am not jealous.

Not to sure about the cafe racer which would look better with the telelever bar bright yellow.
The R75 style is nice...but not for me.

I might just put a R1200R in my garage actually, the standard Black classic would do me.

Well,
I put a just a dab of copaslip on the wheel nut threads
No worries and no seized nuts.
Look for corrosion on the wheel hub face.
Clean and lightly grease before fitting.
Theres 10% either way on the torque when fitting, how many folk torque wheel nuts up?

Well?

GP Track tyre debris

Watched the Spanish grand Prix today. Was amazed at the ammount of tyre debris flying about the track... Then watched a tyre strip and explode...Woooo! Even more amazed at the state of the tyres at the end of the race which had "picked up tyre debris"! There I am worrying about a bit of un...

Yes a high ride height.

8.1 Hands to be exact!

Not for me I need steps to get on the bugger.

Makes a good shelf that bike though.

R1200ST V Tiger 800 ABS Roadie

Sold my R1200ST yesterday, what a nice bike that has given me great days out. Shame but needs must. *Copied from my post in sales section.... Right, its the Tiger 800 ABS Roadie with all the XC extra bits & is therefore not comparable in any way to the R1200ST which is a differant animal. The Ti...

Hey up Lads, Nah the Roadie is all you need unless you really are going to go on the dirt. The XC has a higher seat height which is not a plus for myself, which is why of course I did not go for a GS1200 and yes you can get a lowered seat but they look naff....... Really not joking the "Dyson D...

Tiger 800 Roadie with fancy bits

I have just bought myself a nice black shiny Tiger 800 ABS Roadie with lots of fancy bits on it. Its real nice to ride & makes my R1200ST look very very sad. It does however sound like a Dyson Vacuum cleaner, which is a great shame. My wife came out to the garage and pointed out that though the ...

A lot of people on the road are on drink and/or drugs....

You have to be wary of a confrontation as you never know how they will react....

I have to admit...I do let fly with a decent amount of verbal abuse ...but I do make sure I have a escape route!
