Re: Bad day
Difficult to say for sure but looks fake to me. However, if it's real; a motorcyclist nearly dies. I fail to see the humour.

Re: Best youtube channel for bike reviews?
Never watched a revzilla bike review but their clothing reviews are great.
For bikes I like MC COMMUTE He's quite 'American' but knows what he's talking about and can handle a bike.

Re: Garmin Zumo 400
No speaker. It works the same as my 550. Audio is only available from the car mount as it is the mount itself that has the speaker. The bike mount doesn't have a speaker. One can use headphones plugged into the gps unit's 3.5 mini jack socket. The 550 has Bluetooth connectivity for an appropriate in...

Re: 1100S heated grips
I've been out an tested them with the motor running, just in case it made a difference - it doesn't, max out at 35 degrees on high, fall down to about 25 on low. So I've bought some heated gloves - the Stormguard by EX02 - very nice and warm on the back of the hand and fingers/thumb. Pretty difficu...

Actually, weird exhaust and double headlamp aside I'd like this.

Re: New Pathetic EU Law
I've just been reading an article about this ruling from the EU Court of Justice (ECJ). It seems that it came about when a chap was knocked off a ladder by a reversing tractor in a farmyard. He tried to sue for compensation from the tractor insurers, but they claimed that their responsibility was l...

Re: 1100S heated grips
Been out today and the grips are on high but they are pretty ineffective. I could replace them with Oxfords which I know are much warmer but just wondered were these original grips ever effective and if so is it possible to restore them? It won't be pretty with oxfords on but I don't fancy paying o...

Re: New Speeding Fines from April
eck, It`s incredulous that mature men who have been caught speeding are prepared to sit through all that "you naughty boy" guff and then conclude they got something out of it. You save three points on your license, miss a day`s pay and keep someone in employment who would better serve on ...

Re: New Speeding Fines from April
I know that on the awarness course that I attended, that after about the third time we were told that "speeding kills, wreck lives and maims other people", I suggested that not all speeding ends in an accident, and the tactics were somewhat scaremongering. I was told to shut up because th...

Re: Ultra-low miles 1200ST
It makes sense to me It's a 2006 bike that had a 600 mile service in December 2014 (at728 miles) and new Michelin Pilot Road 4 tyres fitted at the same time. (PR4's were introduced earlier in the year) He carried out an oil and filter change on 19th December, 2015 at 1510 miles and the bike currentl...
